April 19,2024 Lunch: Cheese pizza, side salad, green beans and strawberries Last night the girls track team leaped their way on down to Winfield Mt. Union. Even though the wind and rain was cold , the action on the track was HOT HOT HOT. Sadly our girls couldn’t eat it up in the field events because they were canceled. The sprint medley relay team of (Lily Randall, Ayla Hall, Aaliyah Cooper and Emery Hall) came in a close second but the same girls redeemed themselves in the distance medley relay and came in first by the length of 5 whales! (avg 60ft per whale) Also the 4x4 relay team made of (Ayla Hall, Emery Hall, Aaliyah Cooper and Ema Roberts) came in first place by the length of 35 cows!!! (avg 6 ft per cow)Aaliyah Cooper came in first place in the 400 meter hurdles by 150 chihuahuas!! (avg 1ft per Chihuahua) Ema Robert’s came in first sooooo speedy in both the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash! Please come by and support both the girls and boys teams tonight at BGM. -Written by your very own HLV-TC girls track team! (also, thanks to our amazing math teacher mr.sowers we were able to do all the math ourselves!) Despite missing a few boys due to injury, the Warrior Boys managed to put on some exciting performances at Eddyville. The boys’ 4x100, made up of Mason Westerdale, Cael Weisskopf, Peyton Roth, and Max Henstorf, ran the second fastest time of the season! Shoutout to Sean McCulloch for medaling third place in high jump! Huge congrats to Wesley Davis for breaking 6 minutes in the mile and setting a new PR! Great work boys!
